A hub can be opened in your home country .If you own an airline in the eu you can open a hub in any EU country post 2000.

Yes hubs are important and they are also not important

A terminal give you gates at any airport in your home country.(and all of the EU for European carriers after 2000) There are 2 way to get a terminal build a new one and/or buy a used one.

Go down your side bar to Main Menu > Manage Terminals . Then select the airport, press build terminal, enter the amount of gates you want (there will be a minimum) and click "build terminal" for the second time.

Only use the "used" terminal option if one is available at the airport you want.

• You have money for it
• You fly lots of routes out of the airport
• It is your base to low gate rental cost
• Reached leasing limit
• Part of your alliance rules

Say NO if
• You don’t have enough money for it
• There are plenty of gates left
