Its original name was SFSR Airways, which is the original AeroRus and a airline serving the Early Soviet union. The Airline is founded by the Makhalov brothers, otherwise known as Sergei and Grigory Makhalov. After their deaths in 1994, their sons, Andrei and Mikhail Makhalov both age 35 are the new owners of the airline.
