The different game worlds are the different versions of AE.

Airline Empires has been continuously developed and modified since 2004, the development of which has branched into different versions of the game. This section is divided up into whether or not the versions are supported, i.e. receive active development effort, have live games, etc.

* SIM1: Sim 1 is the oldest version of AE, it is also the first one to be created. Sim 1 has no support and does not get any new features since the only one with admin powers is miller who is not around anymore. This is one of the two sims that run a real life production game with start and end dates.

* SIM2 BETA: Sim 2 Beta is the newest and most advanced game. It has lots of support, more features and runs a real life production game. There are multiple bugs so it is reset more frequently than any other sim but it does go faster and allows faster growth.
