The airline went out of business. In 1995 The Xpress brand was revived. The new Airline was founded on the same grounds, this time on higher profit routes with an A320. By 1996 Xpress had one-hundred aircraft, obviously more successful, and had a fully owned fleet by 1997. Xpress is one of the Largest Airbus operators and has a non-Boeing fleet. By 2000 Xpress was one of the most successful airlines in AE12 == Destinations == The Xpress serves many markets, all out of the USA, The Xpress has about 460 destinations and expanding. The Xpress has 7 Hubs which makes the network mostly failsafe. Xpress bends the rules a little with its Guam hub, allowing us origin flights to Asia with small aircraft.Otterair has close ties with Xpress through FlyDirect. == Fleet == In January 2011, the average age of Xpress's fleet was 5.6 years.
