== Researching routes ==
Before starting up a new route, you must find the airport pair you would like to establish. It can be done by using the "Route Research" function:-

Enter the airport pair you are interested in and click 'Search'.

It will show details of flight between these two airports. You may decide whether it is profitable by comparing the supply & demand figure, number of competitors, ticket prices for current operators, etc.

Don't forget to check for the distance between the two cities you choose and make sure the aircraft you assign has sufficient range.

== Setting up a route ==

To set up a route, you must have the following:

*Origin and destination airports' gates (with enough slots).
*An aircraft with sufficient range and enough available time for a round trip journey plus turn time.
*Enough cash for the "Route Start up Cost".

#Click “Open New Route” and enter the city pair. It will show aircraft with sufficient range and time available at the bottom of the page. <br> <br>[[File:Open_new_route.png|150px|center]]
#Choose the aircraft you wish to operate the route. You may choose more than one aircraft jointly operating the route. (***if you find that the frequency available it shows is fewer than the aircraft can operate, check the number of time slots at the right and ensure you have sufficient slots.***). <br><br> [[File:Open new route screen 2.PNG|900px|center]]
#Decide the ticket price for the route. You may compare the price with you competitors to ensure your airline is competitive.
#Click “Open Route” to continue.
#You will be directed to the “Route Details” where you can see the occupancy for your newly established route. Fine-tune you ticket price to make a balance between profit and occupancy.  <br><br> [[File:Route details.PNG|600px|center]]
