Political restrictions are in place to attempt to provide a realistic feel to the game by restricting flights to and from certain destinations. (This is currently a work in progress.) = Cuba = === Country-Specific Restrictions === Flights to and from the following countries are not allowed: *United States = Gaza Strip = === Country-Specific Restrictions === Flights to and from the following countries are not allowed: *Israel *United States = European Union = After 2000, you may operate flights between countries that are part of the EU. However, you can't operate flights outside your home country to a non-EU country. For example, if you were based in the United Kingdom you could operate flights from Paris to Oslo, however, you couldn't operate flights from Paris to New York. The following countries are in the EU. You cannot configure aircraft that could potentially have more seats, such as a 737-800 with a maximum of 189 seats, with 56 seats in order to avoid these restrictions. === New York LaGuardia (LGA) === Flights to and from the airport must be less than 1500 miles apart. === Washington National (DCA) === Flights to and from the airport must be less than 1250 miles apart. === Country-Specific Restrictions === Flights to and from the following countries are not allowed: *Cuba *Gaza Strip *Iran *North Korea *Syria
