[[File:new_airline_name_box.jpg]] Next, click the "Start New Airline" button. You have now created your Airline, before continuing to setup routes and make money, there are a few things you may want to consider: * Are you going to run a low cost airline, or a premium airline ? * Where will you base your airline? * Which Aircraft Will you use? * Will you fly, short-haul, medium-haul, and long-haul routes? Please note that these guidlines will help you build a better Airline, by considering these factors, you are more likely to run a successful Airline. After you have chosen a name for your airline, you will be redirected to the in-game menu. [[File:in_game_menu.jpg]] The in-game menu contains many links to settings which you can choose to adjust to improve your airline and make routes. To start a successful Airline, follow these tips: * Never operate a route at a loss, not even for pride. * Never operate a route at a loss just to prevent competitors flooding the route. It's better to fly the route with a smaller plane, or less frequently, if you can't profit from that, then ditch the route and try a different destination. * Only use the most economically efficient planes * It is more efficient for a 747 to fly a route once than a 737 to fly the same route four times, for example. * Don't use the same range aircraft from different families, for example, don't use both a 737-700 and an A320, as this will mean paying more in base cost as you are using two aircraft from different manufacturers. * Running an airline with newer aircraft is more profitable; older aircraft incur more maintenance costs.
