Flights to Norfolk also started the same day. 2 weeks later, Sacramento was added to their route network. Although Skytran's HQ is in Norfolk, their operations are planned to extend from Myrtle Beach, Roanoke, Newark, and Releigh-Durham. (average age 0.15 years when retired) |- |} == Notable occurances == * Upon take off, an Il-86, Flight 483, registration N452SK, owned by the second Skytran Airline suffered an engine failure shortly after take off from MYR. The pilot was able to sucessfully land in a field 5 NM away. 5 out of the 7 crew on board survived, and 343 out of the 350 passengers on board survived. The aircraft was written off.
