Aircraft are the most important thing in Airline Empires, without them you would be nothing!! in this part of the tutorial i will show you how to get your first aircraft.

==Acquiring New Aircraft==

Getting new aircraft is not only much more beneficial financially in the long run it is also the best way to expand. There are two ways of acquiring aircraft in Airline Empires and they are; buying and leasing. Firstly click [[file:07_Order_New_Aircraft.png]], this will get you started.

Buying aircraft is the most expensive method of getting aircraft but it is also the best way to keep your profit rating up and if you do not think you can afford monthly leasing payments this is the best option.

*Find the aircraft you would like to purchase and click the [[file:purchase.png]] icon. For the purpose of this tutorial i will be using the A320.
*The next screen is the engine selection screen. This screen is very important to your decision as it may be the deciding factor if your aircraft has the range to get to an airport or whether or not it can takeoff or land on the runway, so choose wisely!<br/>

Leasing aircraft is the quick and cheap way of acquiring aircraft quickly, it does have a negative effect as you must pay monthly lease payments, if you miss these payments your aircraft can be seized (after three warnings). It also has a negative impact on your credit rating and your ranking. If all your aircraft are leased your ranking is based on how much money you have i.e you lease an aircraft your valuation will go down by the money you spent. If you purchase aircraft however your valuation will be based on how much cash you have and fixed assets (value of all your aircraft).

*Choose your preferred engine(s)
*Negotiate how many aircraft you would like and how long you wish to lease them for. Choose seat configuration and addons.
