Singapore Airlines started as Sol Airways with a hub at Singapore Salatar Airport. Soon after they changed there name to Singapore Airlines and opened a hub at Singapore Changi

Singapore Airlines operates primarily in the Asia/Pacific reasons. Flying from Singapore to Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and Australia.  

Singapore Airlines has two hubs: Singapore Changi and Singapore Selatar.

Singapore Airlines has opened a few competitive routes with Airlines such as Jet Star and Garuda Indonesia were they have been competing for Passanhers.

Singapore Airlines' in-flight entertainment system, KrisWorld was introduced in 1992 on there 737s, A320s and F-27's after Singapore Airlines wanted to overhaul their in-flight experience with a new, cheap entertainment solution.

Krisworld lets you listen to Music, Watch Movies and Even play game whilst in the comfort of your chair. 

Krisworld also stands for other on board services. You can Purchase food for up to $40, The comforts like Pillows, Blankets, Comfort Packs and Kids Packs are also available. 

Krisworld costs just 5 dollars, But it makes those long flights seem short.
